TSX-V: HAN

Hannan Metals Ltd has 100% ownership of the County Clare Zn-Pb-Ag-Cu project in Ireland, that consists of 9 prospecting licences covering 35,444 hectares.  The purchase of the licences included an historical exploration data base with a significant number of regional soil sample results and about 140,000 metres of diamond drilling.

The drilling had defined a maiden resource at Kilbricken comprising 2.7 million tonnes at 8.8% zinc equivalent (see Kilbricken section) and is the Company’s flagship project.  Hannan has continued the expansion of this resource – best drill hole to date, DH 17-3679-217, intersected 8m at 4.1% Zn, 33.7% Pb and 174 g/t Ag.

During 2017, Hannan has completed significant regional work including near 1,000 regional soil samples and 41 line kilometres of seismic survey.    The soil sampling program defined seven new anomalous area within a 12km by 2km long northwest trending multi-element geochemical anomaly.  The seismic data is being interpreted but has revealed a critical new set of subsurface data across much of the Clare licence areas.

Hannan is in the planning stage for a 20,000 metre diamond drilling program designed to further increase the size of the Kilbricken resource along with initial testing of the numerous seismic structural trap areas identified particularly where associated with soil geochemical anomalies in the right geological setting.
